Self-sabotage is one of the most challenging things we face because it's so easy to fall into the trap of doing it.

We all have that little voice in our heads that tells us we can't do something or that we're not good enough. And sometimes, when we feel particularly vulnerable, we listen to those voices. We doubt ourselves and our abilities, and before we know it, we're sabotaging our own success.

If there's one thing I've learned, you must let go of the past experiences dragging you down.

Everybody, and I mean everybody, has shit in their past that's holding them back.

Past relationships. Toxic friendships and used-to-be loved ones. The shame and guilt from mistakes we've made and the negative self-talk that's been there throughout.

LET THAT SHIT GO!

Your happiness, freedom, self-worth, and all that other shit that's so good in this world and can make you feel so full depend on it.

Leaving a marriage is never going to be an easy choice to make. It's probably one of the biggest decisions you will ever make!

It's a big decision that will affect you, your spouse, and any children involved. It takes a lot of strength and courage to walk away from something that you have invested so much time and energy into. But sometimes, it is the only way to find true freedom.

When it comes to self-care, I always say that it's better to be proactive than reactive.

What do I mean by that?

When you're proactive about your self-care, you're making a conscious decision to take care of yourself before anything bad happens. It's a constant process of working and tweaking your approach that keeps things running smoothly.

"The first step to being happy is simplifying your life!"

Oh, fuck off.

I've heard this quote, or words to this effect, so many times I've lost count. Any time I go to research or read about some aspect of my life I want to improve, there it is.

Minimalize your life. Get rid of all your stuff. Go and live in a van and travel the world with just your laptop.

Yeah. Right.

I don't even have the stuff to minimize and throw out. And I like the stuff I do. It means something to me.

Right now, as I write this, I look around and see my books and photos. They all hold value to me, so why would I get rid of them?

How would doing so make me happy?
